Hawaii’s first barrel-aged Coffee

This is a collaboration with ChadLou’s Coffee in Kailua. We source 100% locally grown Hawaiian coffee and place it in our rum barrels previously used to age our Kō Hana Agricole Rum.

ChadLou’s rotate the barrel daily for 10 days to allow the beans to infuse with the flavors imparted in the wood and then roast the beans to a perfect medium. The resulting coffee is distinctly earthy with subtle hints of oak and rum from the barrel aging process.
